2023: ‘Plans have been concluded to hand over Presidency to Atiku’ – Finnish Politician

Simon Ekpa, a Finnish citizen and politician of Nigerian descent has claimed that some persons have concluded plans to hand over power to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar in February 2022.

Atiku was the flagbearer of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election, and is expected to throw his hat into the ring again, in respect of the 2023 election.

The Atiku plan is part of permutations for the 2023 Presidential election, according to Ekpa, who has been residing in Finland for more than a decade.

Ekpa is well-known to be a self-styled disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the now-detained leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). IPOB is a controversial organization agitating for the breakup of Nigeria and creation of a new nation, to be called Biafra. The group and its proponents are notorious for their propaganda.

“Fulani caliphate have concluded plan to hand over Presidency to Atiku on February 2022 in a bid disrupt Nigeria disintegration. We must now step up our agitation for Biafra so that by then or before then, we are almost home,” Ekpa wrote on his known Twitter handle on Saturday.

General elections will be held in Nigeria on 18 February 2023 to elect the President, Vice President, House of Representatives, and Senate. The winners of the election will be inaugurated on 29 May 2023, the former date of Democracy Day.

  1. The 2023 elections promise to be very interesting and very revealing. if is safe to believe that PMB would support a Fulani candidate irrespective of party affiliation. In any case, the APC is really not a party in real sense of the word.
