Footage of Indonesian security agents brutally attacking a Nigerian Diplomatic Official has emerged online.
The official, identified as Ibrahim, was accosted by the police outside a supermarket and asked to produce his identity card, which he unfortunately did not have on him at that moment.
He, however, explained that he was working as an officer of the Nigerian High Commission and Consulate in Indonesia. The security agents didn’t buy his explanation and quickly arrested him.
They forced him into the vehicle and from the footage, one of the officers held him tightly on the neck. Ibrahim was heard screaming that he can’t breathe. Another officer was seen pinning his head to the vehicle headrest.
The incident reportedly happened on Saturday, August 7th.
