JUST IN: Boko Haram Terrorists Strike in Borno, Abduct Policemen

Boko Haram terrorists have kidnapped an unspecified number of mobile policemen at the police mobile training school in Limankara, Gwoza Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State, North-East Nigeria, POLITICS NIGERIA reports.

Gwoza is the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.

The insurgents were said to have attacked the training school around 8:22pm on Thursday with gun trucks, and shot sporadically into the air before kidnapping the mobile Police instructors.

Boko Haram is known for its brutality, and since the insurgency started in 2009, it has killed tens of thousands of people, in frequent attacks against the police, armed forces and civilians.

Its wicked activities has resulted in the deaths of more than 300,000 children and displaced 2.3 million from their homes and was during part of the mid 2010s, the world’s deadliest terror group according to the Global Terrorism Index.
