In a heartwarming display captured in a viral video circulating on social media, Hilda Baci, the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon, couldn’t contain her emotions just after Guinness World Records (GWR) officially confirmed her feat.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that GWR made the announcement on Tuesday, declaring Baci as the latest record holder, having cooked continuously for 93 hours and 11 minutes.
The organization shared the news on their official website, stating, “After a meticulous evaluation of all the evidence, Guinness World Records is delighted to confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, widely known as Hilda Baci, has officially shattered the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with an impressive time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”
The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began her culinary journey on Thursday, May 11, until Monday, May 15, preparing over 100 pots of delectable dishes throughout her four-day feat.
From Akwa Ibom State, Hilda Baci accomplished this extraordinary feat by setting a record 93 hours and 11 minutes nonstop cooking.
Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, “This is the best news ever omg omg omg thank you so much”
