The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday confirmed nineteen new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 362.
According to a tweet on its Twitter page, the NCDC said of the positive cases, fourteen were recorded in Lagos, two in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), one in Kano, one in Niger, one in Akwa Ibom, One in Edo.
The center added that 99 patients have recovered from the virus has spread to 19 states and the FCT.
It also noted that one new death has been recorded, making the number of fatalities from the infection rise to 11.
The NCDC wrote, “As at 09:20 pm 14th April there are 362 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths”
Nineteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
