Twenty kidnapped victims have been rescued by troops of the Nigerian Military in Kaduna.
The commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the victims were rescued in two different Operations in Birnin Gwari and Giwa local government areas of Kaduna State.
Aruwan said the troops from Operation Forest Sanity conducted special clearance operations in Alawa and spotted bandit movements around Kwaga.
He added that after a brief pursuit, the troops neutralised two bandits.
Two AK-47 rifles, three magazines, three motorcycles, and one Baofeng radio were also recovered from the bandits.
