As the 2023 presidential election draws near, Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has challenged Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party to organize a press conference and call the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist group.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Garba asked Obi to take a cue from Northern leaders on the Boko Haram insurgents and bandits terrorising the region.
“I have a formula to help Peter Obi dissociate himself from IPOB. Organize a press conference, call IPOB a terrorist organization, like all responsible Nigeria leaders did.
“He can take example from Northern leaders on Boko Haram and bandits. Arewa house can be an excellent venue,” Garba wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night.

Organize a press conference, call IPOB a terrorist organization, like all responsible Nigeria leaders did. He can take example from Northern leaders on Boko Haram & bandits.
Arewa house can be an excellent venue.

This newspaper reports that the federal government of Nigeria considers bandits, Boko Haram, the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP), and IPOB, terrorist organizations.
