Some presidential aspirants from various political parties converged on the State House Conference Centre on Saturday evening for a Ramadan Iftar dinner with the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that among the presidential aspirants in attendance were national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi (APC), and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Other dignitaries who had arrived are Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; one-time National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Barnabas Gemade; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; and oil and gas mogul, Tein Jack-Rich.
Earlier this week, the First Lady hosted female members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), National Assembly and wives of legislators to an Iftar dinner.
