A former national Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Muiz Banire has said that the party will soon implode due to numerous disagreements within its structure.
Banire, during a recent radio interview, said that the party has no regard for rule of law and cannot stand the test of time.
In his words: “Certainly the APC will implode. The foundation of the party its self is weak. We have several people, tendencies coming together to acquire power but they are unable to synergise.”
“Conflict is tearing the party apart.”
Banire also explained that the party was being controlled by the Governors.
When asked why he left APC, Banire explained that he advised the party to follow the rule of law but its leadership refused, adding that it was the main reason he quit after his tenure as legal adviser elapsed.
