The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu set confusion to the minds of many party faithful at a recent event in Kaduna state.
Tinubu was delivering a speech at the Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit on Saturday where he stated that the Governor of the state, Nasir El-rufai was “an expert in turning a rotten situation to a bad one”.
The lagos politician also stated that he will not leave the stage until he gets a commitment from the Kaduna State governor on staying in public service beyond 2023.
El-Rufai, who will be rounding off his constitutional-allowed second term as governor in 2023, had said he would retire after his tenure as governor. Tinubu said his host should not run to Egypt or any other country for PhD. He stated that the country needs him here.
“I am openly begging Nasir El-Rufai not to run away for additional degree and excuse. He is going to Cairo—PhD and everything. There are a lot of educated relics. We are not going to let you run away,” he said.
After his speech, Mr Tinubu reiterated that Mr El-Rufai must give him a pledge to continue to serve.

I love this man so much but I think he can’t be a good president at this time. His age will affect his performance.

And yet, there are those clamouring for his presidency. A man that makes serial mistakes while delivering speeches, a man that has an obvious mental instability, a man known for hiring fake Bishops to grace occasions. A man that is not issue based (AGBADO Cassava and Garri). How can this same man convince me to cast my vote for him? Please I come in peace.
True! ElRufai is like the leg and hand of a chicken for he knows how to scatter all but not rebuild all. Poverty is increased as many whose houses, businesses, jobs, etc were downroaded by him are under the worst poverty since austerity measure brought by his soulmate in early 80s up. Teachers were sacked at will because they could not write a competency test after writing and passing exams plus strenuous interviews before employment. Their Retirement savings were seized by not being remitted to their PFAs in addition to salaries stopped by KdSubeb even as severance pay was not paid for the sack. Most of the projects started will not be completed before he leaves office. Therefore, check very well because there is a hidden corruption well bottled up or personal enrichment by them through human resources syphoning and contract abracadabra.This requires investigation without excluding the KdSubeb chairman. How can one sack teachers and other workers year in year out and swallow all their entitlements deducted from their salaries for years on the pretext that they were incompetent after deeming them competent by employing them? Who is fooling who here?
