Festus Keyamo, a spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, on Monday said the “abusive strategy” adopted by supporters of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, will attract “more sympathy votes” to Bola Tinubu (APC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Obidient movement, as Obi’s supporters are popularly called, have been accused by many critics of being abusive and intolerant.
Keyamo insisted that he and supporters of the ruling APC will continue to ‘press their necks to reset their brains’.
Finally, some light at the end of the dark tunnel: some of them are finally conceding that the abusive strategy by them is taking them nowhere; at best it attracts more sympathy votes to the person you struggle to malign. “Let’s keep pressing their necks to reset their brains,” Keyamo said via a quote tweet on his verified handle.
