Abdulmumin Jibrin, a former federal lawmaker, on Monday said Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2023 presidential aspirant, brings so much value to the party that will aid the political bids of governorship and National Assembly (NASS) seat hopefuls.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Jibrin, the Director General (DG) of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Support Groups Management Council (ABATSGMC), praised the former Lagos State Governor’s support base, which he said is ‘huge, in and outside of the APC’.
“As APC candidate, the value Asiwaju brings on board is beyond winning the Presidential election for our party. It comes with a chain effect. His huge support base in and beyond APC, good will and vast network will help our candidates for Governorship, States and NASS win theirs!” Jibrin wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
Jibrin, who made a name for himself in the House of Representatives regarding budget padding, has been canvassing for support for the 69-year-old since he officially declared his intention to run for president on January 10.
Jibrin had talked about his support for zoning the 2023 Presidency to the South, stressing that, “by supporting Asiwaju, implicitly it means I support that the Presidency in APC should be zoned to the Southern part of the country.”
“has been canvassing for support for the 69-year-old since he officially declared his intention to run for president on January 10.”.
WHERE AND WHEN DID HE DECLARE HIS INTENTION? AM, I MISSING SOMETHING HERE?
The Asiwaju has only told us he is still consulting and will make his presidential aspirations known in a PUBLIC pronouncement to the generality of the populace at an appropriate time. This much i know. Mischief makers at work, at best.
