Governor Nyesom Wike of River State on Friday taunted his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying “if they lose election, nobody should call my name”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that speaking at the commissioning of the Rivers legislative quarters, Wike insinuated that Nigeria’s main opposition party, the PDP, is not on the right track in its quest to usurp power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.
“People are busy plotting how they will win election. Rather, our people are busy trying to see how they would lose election. If they lose election, nobody should call my name,” Wike said.
“I have told the candidate (Atiku Abubakar), you will win the election, you will lose this election because of people around you.”
Joining Governor Wike to commission the Rivers legislative quarters was Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and a member of the ruling APC.
THEY WILL LOSE OR YOU ARE PART AND PARCEL OF THE ELECTORAL WOES WAITING TO HAPPEN TO THE PDP.
Most instructive.
