Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday said it will be a “miracle” if his opponent, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) wins the 2023 election.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Atiku was speaking in a pre-recorded interview with Arise TV, monitored by this newspaper.
According to the former Vice-President, Labour Party does not have a “structure” and is not popular in the northern region of Nigeria.
“It will take a miracle for Labour Party with no structure in the grassroots to win the presidency. In the north 90% of our people are not in tune to Social media,” Atiku said.
Adamawa-born Atiku picked Obi as his running mate in the 2019 election. They ran unsuccessfully against Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC). But the former Anambra State Governor left the PDP for the Labour Party in May to pursue his presidential ambition. He has since garnered massive support, especially among youths on social media.
Atiku should be saying this to the hearings of Governor Ortom the DREAMER of a MIRACULOUS stepdown for Peter Obi.
