The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign organisation, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has said some key members of the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ‘are part of the people who truncated’ June 12 presidential election.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Keyamo, who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, said this on Channels Television’s The 2023 Verdict programme on Friday.
He challenged the Department of State Services (DSS) to invite him over his claim – as they did to his colleague, Femi Fani-Kayode.
“They are the people who truncated June 12. They have congregated again to truncate this democracy. Those same characters around June 12 are the ones replaying it again now,” Keyamo said.
Quizzed on the certainty of his claim, he replied: “I know that. You know I have been built from when I left school for detention in DSS. So, if they want to invite me, they should invite me again.
“That has been my trajectory; I have slept there so many years.”
