A member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State, Shina Peller, has lost the Oyo North senatorial primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that Peller, who is popular for being the owner of Popular Lagos night Club, Quilox, lost the ticket to Fatai Buhari.
This newspaper learned that Peller managed to poll only 5 votes against Buhari’s 570 votes. He will not be returning to the hallowed chambers.
Peller opted for the senate as he decided not the return to the House of Reps in order to honour a rotational arrangement put in place in his constituency.
