The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Rauf Aderemi has denied reports of dumping the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
Aderemi in a statement via Twitter called on the general public to disregard the reports adding that he was still a bonafide member of the PDP.
“The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan remains a member of the PDP on whose platform he came to office.”
“His purported “set to dump the PDP for NNPP” is far from the truth.”
“We urge the good people of Oyo State to stay true and supportive of this administration to attain much greater goods in the days ahead.”, the statement read.
