Former Aviation Minister, Olufemi Fani-Kayode (FFK) may be throwing his hat into the ring to contest for the country’s number one position in 2023.
FFK, a seasoned politician and businessman, is popular for being a strong critic of the Muhammadu Buhari Administration.
2023 Presidential campaign posters of the Peoples Democratic Party Chieftain, with the slogan “Rescue 2023” went viral on social media early Saturday.
Efforts to reach Fani-Kayode for comment on the campaign posters were unsuccessful. However, the 59-year-old politician may stand a chance of becoming the party’s flagbearer going by the zoning formula of the PDP, which advocates for rotation of power between northern and southern Nigeria.
By 2023, Southern Nigeria is expected to produce the Presidential flagbearer of the party, FFK being from the south-west qualifies to vie for the ticket.
