Deji Adeyanju, former Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday said Iyorchia Ayu as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC), will result in a defeat for Nigeria’s main opposition party at the polls in 2023.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Adeyanju has been very vocal in his displeasure over how the PDP operates. Repeatedly, he has labeled them a “useless party”.
In a tweet via his known handle, the socio-political activist branded Ayu-led PDP NWC as “the most corrupt” the party has ever had, accusing it of ‘selling every single ticket’.
“Iyorcha Ayu is running a Bureau De Change in Wadata Plaza and not a political party. With such a man as opposition Party Chairman, they are guaranteed defeat. This is the most corrupt NWC PDP has ever had. They sold every single ticket. The real buying and selling is on Saturday,” Adeyanju wrote.
