Deji Adeyanju, a prominent public commentator, on Friday said Bola Tinubu, presidential standard-bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election, will win the poll because the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ‘is not serious’.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, is one of the frontline candidates for next year’s presidential election.
The 70-year-old has been in politics since 1992, and is recognised as a major player in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as president in 2015.
He is up against the likes of Rabiu Kwankwaso (New Nigeria Peoples Party), Peter Obi (Labour Party), Atiku Abubakar (Peoples Democratic Party) and Omoyele Sowore (African Action Congress).
“My prediction remains that Tinubu will win the election in February because PDP is divided into four unserious branches:
-Atikulated;
-Obedients;
-Kwankwasiya;
-Controversy Branch: Pro Wike,” Adeyanju wrote on his known Twitter handle.
