Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election, on Monday said he does not prioritise live interviews because he considers himself “a marketable individual”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu spoke at the Chatham House, United Kingdom (UK).
According to the former Lagos State governor, in the current campaign season, Nigerians will continually hear from him.
“I see myself as a marketable individual. They want to use me to make money and I said no,” Tinubu said.
The social media has been awash with comments that the APC presidential candidate was shying away from living interviews since his nomination as a presidential candidate in June because of poor health and ineptitude.
According to some critics, talking to the press is an integral part of the presidential job description, which they expect Tinubu to showcase straightaway.
