A governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Abe, has said National Leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, “is the person in the APC that can deliver that ‘killer-punch’ that will keep the party in power after President Muhammadu Buhari”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to Abe, Tinubu’s pedigree is the reason he is supporting him.
Abe, who spoke recently when he consulted party supporters in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local governments, said the former Lagos State Governor stands head and shoulders above other aspirants.
“I am supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the reason I am supporting him is simple. I have looked at all those who want to run and I have looked at all those who claim they have done this or that, and I see that Asiwaju is the person in the APC that can deliver that ‘killer-punch’ that will keep the party in power after President Muhammadu Buhari. This is why I am following him,” Abe said.
