The Co-Director of Strategic Communication for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Danladi Bako, on Tuesday said that Northern states will deliver 12 million votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 election.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, is one of the frontline candidates in respect of the forthcoming 2023 election.
Speaking with newsmen, Bako, a former Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), said Tinubu will naturally inherit President Muhammadu Buhari’s votes.
He affirmed his belief that not even Atiku Abubakar or Rabiu Kwankwaso, who are northerners, can garner such figures.
“As far as the 2023 presidential election is concerned, the Northern States which are the stronghold of President Muhammadu Buhari will deliver the usual 12 million votes to APC.
”I strongly believe that there is no serious candidate from the North that can bring the number of votes that Buhari normally brings,” Bako said.
