Ugokwe Prince, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who is one of the pastors present at the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as Vice-Presidential candidate of the ruling party for the 2023 election, has faulted the attack on a man alleged to be a ‘fake bishop’ in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to Prince, the victim who is a plumber was accused of appearing as a “fake bishop” at the unveiling of Shettima, in Abuja weeks ago.
Reports say the victim was ‘apprehended’ presumably by supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, in a market in Dei Dei neighbourhood of Abuja.
A displeased Ugokwe took to his known Facebook page on Sunday to state that the action by the aggressors is totally unnecessary.
