Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has said supporters of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election, popularly known as Obidients, will need time to mature and grow.
POLITICS NIGERIA Obaseki said although Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, is his friend, he does not see him emerging winner in the forthcoming presidential election in February 2023.
“As for me, are they (Obidients) organised enough? Do they have enough experience? You know, the candidate is my friend, Peter Obi. Does he have as much experience as Alhaji Atiku? Not yet. They will need time to mature. They will need time to grow, but for this election, February 2023, which is less than 100 days away, we will see the end result.” Obaseki told This Day Newspaper in an interview published on Wednesday.
Look at a none performing governor saying Obi needs time to mature. Tomorrow when Obi becomes president you’ll switch camp to labour party.
What’s he talking about? Maturity you said? Look at the present situations of this country that’s been handle by a matured political leader for the past seven years now. Adam you better be quiet as you been for past few months now Nigerian enjoys your absent in the country’s politics
