Peter Obi campaigns for ADC candidates ahead of FCT area council elections

Peter Obi, on Wednesday, campaigned for candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the February 21 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) area council elections.
Obi said he was in Kubwa, Bwari area council where he joined Josiah Koche, ADC chairmanship candidate, to engage residents as part of the campaign.
He said he later proceeded to Gui ward in Abuja municipal area council (AMAC) where he met with the Bassa royal father and members of the community.
Obi said the visit to AMAC was alongside Moses Paul, ADC chairmanship candidate.
“As always, the engagement focused on listening to the people, exchanging ideas grounded in competence, compassion, and accountability, and reaffirming our shared commitment to building a society that truly works for all,” he said.
Obi said he remains convinced that “with the right leadership and people-centred governance, our communities can achieve meaningful and sustainable progress”.
