Presidency Reveals Tinubu’s Achievements Are What’s Making Opposition Struggle

The Presidency has fired a direct shot at the leading figures of the opposition, claiming that the visible progress recorded under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is responsible for their current political desperation.

Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, suggested that the opposition is finding it increasingly difficult to gain traction because the President’s scorecard is speaking for itself.

According to him, the administration’s results have left its critics “sweating” as they struggle to maintain relevance in the face of ongoing reforms.

The presidential aide made these remarks while reacting to a viral Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated video featuring the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi.

In a bold assessment of the political landscape leading toward the next general elections, Dare described the future aspirations of the two opposition leaders as effectively over.

He maintained that no amount of political maneuvering could overshadow the impact of the current government’s policies.

“It is Hard to fight Results. The opposition sweating it out. As President TINUBU’S scorecard makes them sweat,” Dare stated in a social media post.

Going further to dismiss the possibility of a successful challenge to the incumbent, he added that any renewed “Presidential ambitions” from the duo are “dead on arrival. DOA.”
