#OccupyNASS Protest: Rotimi Amaechi clashes with Police Officers [VIDEO]

A tense scene unfolded at the National Assembly on Tuesday as former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, was involved in a heated confrontation with police officers stationed at the complex.
A viral video circulating on social media captured the former governor in a shouting match with security operatives, drawing the attention of lawmakers, aides and passersby within the legislative premises. The footage showed Amaechi visibly agitated as he exchanged words with the officers, repeatedly gesturing and raising his voice while the police attempted to restrain the situation.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the altercation occurred near one of the entrances to the National Assembly, although the exact cause of the disagreement was not immediately clear.
Despite efforts by officers to de-escalate the situation, the confrontation lasted several minutes before Amaechi eventually moved away from the area. No arrests were made, and there were no reports of physical violence.
