2027: Baba-Ahmed Warns Tinubu Would Become Nigeria’s Worst President if Re-elected

Former Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has said Tinubu would be the worst president if he secures a second term in 2027.

Baba-Ahmed made the statement on Tuesday during an appearance on Channels Television’s programme, Political Paradigm.

He stated that since stepping down from his role as presidential adviser, he has not observed any improvement in Tinubu’s performance, but rather a decline in national conditions.

“Our nation has been a lot more insecure now than when I left. What I see at home and on the street when people speak is that the level of desperation and poverty is most pronounced, especially in the northern part of the country.

“I see a president who is amassing all the politicians around him with the hope that those politicians are going to deliver him in the second term.

“That is poor thinking. It’s not strategic, and it’s not Tinubu that we used to hear about.

“I’m sorry to say that I think President Tinubu will make the worst president if he returns to power in 2027,” he said.
