Content Creator, Governor Amuneke Rejects APC Dollar Offer to Campaign for Tinubu

Popular digital content creator and comedian, popularly known as ‘Governor Amuneke,’ has caused a stir on social media after alleging that he turned down a lucrative offer from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a video that has since gone viral, the entertainer revealed that he was approached with a chairmanship position and a significant amount in US dollars to join the campaign train of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Amuneke, known for his satirical political skits, claimed that the offer was part of a broader strategy by the ruling party to recruit influential voices in the digital space to boost the administration’s public image.

According to the creator, he chose to prioritize his integrity and the interests of his audience over the financial and political rewards offered by the party.

He emphasized that his brand is built on speaking truth to power, and accepting such an “APC Job Offer” would compromise his stance.

The leaked chats suggest that the party has been recruiting social media influencers to circulate pro-government narratives for a fee of ₦3,000 per post.

This “APC ₦3k Influencer Pay” has become a trending topic, with many Nigerians mocking the amount as being too meager given the country’s current economic challenges.
