10 Bodies Recovered After Brutal Attack On Plateau Community By Bandits

The death toll in the latest wave of violent attacks in Plateau State has risen to 10, as more bodies were recovered from affected communities in Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Council.

Politics Nigeria recalls that Dorowa Babuje in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State was attacked by gunmen on Sunday night.

Rwang Tengwong, a community leader associated with the Berom Youth Moulders Association, who spoke to our correspondent on Monday, said two more dead bodies of their members were recovered from Dorowa Babuje, while another person was shot dead in Jol in the Riyom local government council of the state.

He said the attack occurred at about 7:27pm and left three others seriously injured.

The injured victims are still recovering in the hospital, he added.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the spokesman of the Plateau Police Command, DSP Alfred Alabo, for further updates before were abortive.
