Katsina Gov Radda nominates two commissioners after cabinet reshuffle

The governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, has announced the nomination of two commissioner-designates and other aides to his cabinet.

This action by the governor followed the reshuffling of his cabinet and the appointment of a new agency head, among others.

Radda, in a letter sent to the Katsina State House of Assembly forwarded the names of Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa for confirmation as commissioners.

In a statement issued by Radda’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, the governor also approved the appointment of Suleiman Namadi as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.

In addition, Radda announced the appointment of Jamila Salman, Ibrahim Danjuma and Alhaji Muddasir Mati as Senior Special Assistants in various categories.

While Musa Dankawu and Abdulfatah Kafur were also approved as Special Assistants to the governor.

Expressing confidence in the nominees’ capacity to deliver on their responsibilities, the governor urged them to ensure they effectively contribute to good governance and growth in the state.

“I expect you to hit the ground running. This appointment is a call to service. Work with focus, deliver results and make the people proud,” Radda said.

The governor directed the new appointees to ensure that they align with his administration’s agenda to build the future of the people of Katsina State while working to fulfil the campaign process made.
