APC Now Has 31 Governors, More Will Still Join Our Party — Okpebholo Boasts

Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo State, has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) now has 31 governors across the country, adding that more are expected to defect to the party.

Okpebholo made the remark on Wednesday during the official reception of defectors held in Benin City, the state capital.

The governor also expressed appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the people of Edo State for their continued support for the ruling party.

“Let me begin by thanking the people of Edo State for the unity that is bringing us together and strengthening us as one political family.

“Currently, the All Progressives Congress has 31 governors, and I want to assure you that more governors will still join our party.

“I also want to express my deep appreciation to our father, President Bola Tinubu, for his support.

“He has been very supportive of us, and we assure him that Edo State will be delivered to him in the 2027 general elections,” the governor said.
