2027 Elections: Accord Urges Nigerians to Unite, Elect Credible Leaders

The Accord has said the 2027 general elections will provide another opportunity for Nigerians to unite and elect credible leaders capable of steering the country in the right direction.

The party stated this while informing members about an updated link for its ongoing electronic registration and membership revalidation exercise.

“The upcoming elections provide another opportunity for people to come together and collaborate in creating a strong, healthy, forward-looking, successful, and fair democratic nation,” the statement signed by its National Chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, said.

“It’s time to build a better and more prosperous Nigeria that future generations can take pride in.”

The party also advised members who have already completed the electronic registration and revalidation process not to repeat the exercise.

According to the statement, the update became necessary after improvements were made to the link for the ongoing nationwide membership e-registration.

“Members who joined through the old platform can remain registered without signing up again, provided they supply the correct National Identification Number (NIN),” the statement said.

“Their data will be migrated to the new platform. Ward, Local Government, and Zonal leaders are urged to mobilise members in a nationwide drive to ensure that everyone in Nigeria, including those in the diaspora and new entrants, is properly registered. It is important to act quickly.”

The party added that it remains the best platform for Nigerians seeking to contest various positions in the 2027 general elections.
