2027: Obi Cubana Declares Solid Support for Tinubu’s Re-Election Through City Boy Movement

Prominent businessman Obi Cubana has announced his support for President Bola Tinubu through the newly launched City Boy Movement, a youth-focused initiative aimed at educating and empowering communities to drive national development.

Speaking during a meeting with the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, Cubana clarified that the movement is not a political party but a platform primarily backing President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

He said, “The unique thing about this movement is that it’s made up of young people, mostly businessmen, not politicians. Our goal is the betterment of our communities.

“Many people lack knowledge, and our work is mainly to educate, give orientation, and reorient them, to ensure they are well-acquainted with our collective path forward.”

Cubana stressed the importance of unity and collaboration with the Federal Government, stating, “Today, we believe in the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“We, as young professionals and successful businessmen, have come out to tell our people that we are solidly behind Mr. President and his re-election bid. Every Igbo must be taken to the center. We cannot continue divisive politics.

“There must be balance and recognition of every region, because there is much to be done here. We have to be connected to the gas, to the rail.”

He further highlighted the need for constructive engagement with the government to promote regional progress, adding, “If we are all in opposition to this government, eventually we won’t be remembered. We stand on Bola Tinubu’s mandate.

The City Boy Movement is about the progress of Igbo land. Our people lack knowledge, and it is my responsibility to educate them. We stand solidly behind Tinubu.”
