JUST IN: Lagos Youths Protest Over Lack of Electricity Supply [VIDEO]
Youths on Thursday stormed the streets of Lagos to protest the persistent lack of electricity supply in parts of the state.
The protesters, made up mostly of young residents, marched through major roads carrying placards and chanting slogans to express their frustration over the prolonged power outage.
They chanted, “Give us light, we are not asking for too much,” as the demonstrators called on the Lagos government to urgently address the situation.
The youths said the continued power shortage has negatively affected their daily activities and small businesses, urging the government to take immediate steps to restore stable electricity in their communities.
