2027 Election Won’t Be Won by Number of Decampees, APC Should Not Rejoice — Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against celebrating politicians decamping to the party.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said many of the decampees have a different agenda and could end up undermining the ruling party.

He urged the APC to wait until after the elections to draw any conclusions.

Many people decamping to the APC are just wasting their time; it shows they are not capable of improving their former parties. They are the ones who will cause problems in the party,” he warned.

He added that the APC should not rejoice prematurely, stressing that the upcoming presidential election would provide important lessons.

The prophet also predicted that some decampees would fail in their respective states despite joining the ruling party. According to him, the elections will not follow the usual pattern and will not be decided merely by the number of politicians joining APC.

Some of the decampees will fail in their states. Lessons will be learnt because it is not going to be business as usual. The election won’t be won by the number of decampees,” Primate Ayodele said.
