APC Focused on Reform, Innovation, and Opportunities for All Nigerians — Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to strengthening democracy, advancing national development, and empowering young Nigerians, while stressing the need for unity and inclusive governance.

Speaking via his X handle on Monday, Yilwatda described leadership as “a responsibility to serve with integrity, humility, and a clear commitment to progress,” adding that building structures that reflect the aspirations of Nigerians remains a top priority.

On party unity, he emphasised that a cohesive political organisation is vital for national stability, noting that the party is working to deepen internal democracy and ensure all members feel valued in the collective drive for development.

He also underscored the importance of strong democratic institutions, transparent leadership, and public accountability.

“Democracy thrives where institutions are respected and voices are heard. Public service must be guided by integrity, accountability, and compassion,” he said.

Yilwatda further highlighted youth empowerment as a central focus of the APC, describing young Nigerians as active contributors to the country’s present, not just its future. He called for the creation of opportunities that enable them to participate meaningfully in national development.

In addition, he pointed to political inclusion and dialogue as essential tools for strengthening national unity.

“Our diversity is our greatest strength. Through dialogue, mutual respect, and shared purpose, we can build a nation where every citizen feels represented and valued,” he added.
