Ramadan: “We must rally round our Armed Forces” – Senator Yar’adua

The senator representing Katsina Central Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yar’Aduda has called on Nigerians to do their best by rallying around the personnel of the Armed Forces.

Yar’Aduda, in a statement issued on Friday, to felicitate with Muslims on the completion of this year’s Ramadan, appreciated members of the Force for their tireless efforts in securing the nation and protecting its citizens.

Extending his warm regards to Muslim faithful over the observance of the month of Ramadan 1447AH, the lawmaker thanked Allah for enabling them to complete this blessed month in good health and peace.

According to Yar’adua, Ramadan is a month for worship, mercy, patience, and mutual support, strengthening family ties and unity among the community.

He also described Ramadan as a month of importance towards achieving peace and the desired sustainable development in Nigeria.

Further urging Muslims to continue to embrace good values, including forgiveness and compassion to one another he urged the people of Katsina Central and all Nigerians to remain committed to supporting government efforts to ensure peace and security across the nation.

“We must rally round our Armed Forces, who have shown remarkable courage and resilience in the face of adversity.

“We have no doubt that with their professionalism and dedication, we will overcome the scourge of insurgency and achieve lasting peace in our nation,” Yar’Aduda said.

He also prayed that Allah accept the worship of all, forgive the people of their shortcomings, and grant everyone another Ramadan in good health and prosperity.

“Eid Mubarak, may Allah grant us peace, unity, and progress in our country and the world,” the lawmaker added.
