Gov Mutfwang addresses Plateau protesters from armoured vehicle [VIDEO]

The governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang on Monday, March 30, addressed protesters who marched on the streets of Anguwan Rukuba following the deadly attack by some gunmen on Palm Sunday, March 29.
Speaking from an armoured vehicle, Mutfwang urged the visibly angry protesters to remain calm for him to speak to them.
In a two-minute video obtained by POLITICS NIGERIA, the governor said, “You people should remain calm so I can speak here.”
Also confirming that the deadly attack which claimed multiple lives of residents of Anguwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area, Muftwang said, he has had a hard time sleeping since the report on the incident.
“The attack that happened last night is very terrible, I didn’t even sleep after hearing about it,” the governor said in Hausa.
Recall that residents of the community had defied a state-imposed curfew to protest the gruesome attack and killings by some gunmen in Anguwan Rukuba.
According to some of the residents, the curfew imposed across some areas of the state by the government is not enough to curb the incessant killings, kidnappings and raping of community members by the criminals.
The residents also called on the federal government and the international community to come to their aid.
