2027: “We’re committed to victory for ADC” – Kwankwaso says after meeting Atiku

The former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso has said that he is committed towards ensuring victory for the African Democratic Party (ADC) in the 2027 general election.

Kwankwaso made the disclosure after he met with Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president and two-time presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday.

Recall that Atiku had visited Kwankwaso at his residence shortly after his defection to the ADC.

Atiku visited the former leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the company of Dino Melaye, a former Kogi lawmaker and other top politicians of the ADC.

In a post made after the meeting, Kwankwaso said, “I was honoured to receive my dear brother, former Vice President, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, and his esteemed entourage at my residence in Abuja this afternoon.

“Accompanying him were H.E. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Kashim Imam, Senator Dino Melaye, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, and several other distinguished leaders,” Kwankwaso said.

He also used the opportunity to appreciate Ariku for his warm reception into the coalition party.

“I used the opportunity to personally thank the Wazirin Adamawa for his warm reception into the ADC and to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to delivering victory for the party at all levels,” he added.
