“Don’t become the lizard at the mouth of the pot” – Kwankwaso warns Nafiu Bala over ADC crisis

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano, has advised Nafiu Bala not to “become the lizard at the mouth of the pot” amid the controversy surrounding the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Kwankwaso spoke during an interview with DCL Hausa where he expressed disappointment that Bala did not honour a planned meeting.
The former governor of Kano state said he waited until dawn expecting Bala to show up for the discussion.
His words: “Yesterday, right up until dawn, I was waiting for Nafiu Bala, but he didn’t come. People told me he will not come. I wasn’t happy about it.”
Kwankwaso said he had planned to offer Bala guidance in a fatherly manner, describing him as a young politician born in 1990 and warned that his actions regarding the ADC could be detrimental.
He stated: “I told him that he shouldn’t turn into the lizard at the mouth of the pot. Whoever see him should advise him to remove his hand from bringing problems to the ADC.
“They say he is from Gombe. I called upon the Emir of Gombe and other Emirs and politicians and Sheikhs that know him to talk to him.”
