Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to Tackling Economic Hardship, Insecurity, Others

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to tackling Nigeria’s key challenges, including economic hardship, power shortages, and insecurity.
Speaking in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Tinubu said his government remains focused on policies aimed at supporting the poorest and most vulnerable citizens.
He stated: “We won’t stop moving forward, and we’ll keep looking for ways to help those who are struggling. This is a government that really cares.”
The President stressed that stable electricity is critical to national development, noting that industrial growth and skills acquisition depend heavily on reliable power supply.
“You can’t have industrial growth, learning new skills, or people gaining strength without having enough power.
“I promise Nigerians that we will provide electricity to support our country’s development,” he said.
Tinubu also commended Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri for his leadership style and governance approach.
“Diri has shown the strength of leading with a clear purpose,” he said.
The President further pledged renewed efforts to strengthen national security, saying his administration would better equip the armed forces to tackle terrorism and banditry.
“We will defeat terrorism and banditry,” he added.
