El-Rufai Arrives in Court as Trial Continues Over ICPC Money Laundering Case

Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has arrived at the Kaduna State High Court as proceedings continue in his case involving the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

According to earlier reports, the court had adjourned the hearing of his bail application to April 14.

The former governor is facing a 10-count charge bordering on alleged financial misappropriation and money laundering.

El-Rufai was initially detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) before being transferred to the ICPC.

He was recently granted temporary release to attend the burial of his mother, who passed away in March.
