2027: Atiku storms Yola for coalition meeting, meets key political stakeholders [VIDEO]

A former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday, March 25, visited Yola, the capital city of Adamawa State for a coalition meeting.

Atiku, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) arrived at the Yola International Airport where he was received by Senator Ishaku Abbo.

A video shared via his X account showed the former vice president welcomed into the city of Yola by his supporters in their numbers.

His supporters in the video carried posters of Atiku, Abbo and Senator Aishatu Binani while chanting praises of the former vice president.

In his video post, Atiku wrote, “Touchdown Yola! Thank you, Adamawa, for the love and rousing welcome. -AA.”

Politics Nigeria gathered that Atiku is currently having a meeting with Senators Abbo and Binani on a planned coalition between some members of the PDP and other oppoistion parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He was said to have headed to the American University of Nigeria Hotel, Yola where he is in a closed-door meeting with key political stakeholders in the state.
