Both the leadership of Dunamis International Gospel Centre and its founder, Paul Enenche, have maintained grave silence over the arrest of some anti-Buhari protesters in its Abuja headquarters on Sunday.
POLITICS NIGERIA had earlier reported how operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) stormed the church and whisked away six activists who wore #BuhariMustGO T-Shirts.
According to one of the church members who witnessed it, about ten of the activists came out when it was time for first timers to be recognised.
In a twinkling of an eye, the church’s security guards held some of them back and handed over to the secret police. Checks on the various official social media pages by this newspaper showed that neither the church nor its founder have not issued any statement on the controversial scenario.
Also, the Church deleted its live coverage of the Sunday service from its official YouTube channel, denying access to the clip of how the activists were arrested.
Meanwhile, activists and right groups having continued to demand the release of the six protesters, describing their arrest as ‘arbitrary’.
