A 54-year-old man from Nigeria died yesterday evening after being attacked by a bull at a farm in Gudja, a village in Malta.
At around 9 pm yesterday, police were informed that an incident had occurred on a farm on Ħal Tarxien road in Gudja.
From the preliminary investigations conducted, it appears that a 54-year-old Nigerian was found injured after being attacked by a bull while he was working at the farm where the animal was being held.
An ambulance took the man to Mater Dei after a medical team assisted him. Unfortunately, he was certified dead just a few moments later.
An inquiry has been launched into the incident, and police investigations are underway.
The identity of the man was not revealed as at the time of this report.
