Terrorism Financiers have Penetrated Your Government – Primate Ayodele warns Tinubu
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has alleged that individuals financing and supporting terrorists in Nigeria are operating from within the military and around the seat of power, including those who regularly participate in meetings with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ayodele made the claims in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, where he urged the Federal Government to demonstrate stronger commitment in tackling terrorism, warning that failure to decisively confront the crisis could have serious consequences for both the country and the President’s administration.
According to the cleric, insecurity could continue to spread across the nation if the government does not adopt a strategy that involves stakeholders at all levels, from local communities to national security agencies.
He also listed several states and locations he believes should receive heightened security attention, including Bauchi, Katsina, Adamawa, Taraba, Kano, Lokoja, Abuja and Ondo State.
“There are people funding them, and they are within the military and the seat of power, they are part of those taking decision with you. These people are everywhere but concentrate more on Bauchi, Katsina, Adamawa, Taraba, Kano, Lokoja, Abuja, and Ondo state.”
“The government must show seriousness in this fight; everyone must be involved, from the locals to the national, pursue them back-to-back. If your government fails, it is because of insecurity as I warned in the beginning. Don’t underestimate this at all.”
The prophet commended the Nigerian military for their efforts, but lamented that the terrorists are too stubborn and the president must take steps to stop them from carrying out their plans against the innocent citizens.
“Sincerely, the Nigerian military has tried, but these terrorists are stubborn enemies of this country, and they aim to destroy the government. The government of Tinubu has to take steps because these people want to do more by attacking Christians in order to mess up the current administration.”
“This battle may be costly, but don’t let it cost your second term. Concentrate on this security and follow the reports given to you by security operatives. Order the governors to also work with these reports because this thing may increase again by February and March.
