The Lagos State Government has requested that trailers and tankers vacate the Apapa-Oshodi expressway immediately.
Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser on Transportation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the announcement via a statement released today.
He said the articulated vehicles have persistently obstructed traffic flow along the Apapa-Oshodi expressway, causing substantial disruptions and inconvenience to commuters.
According to him, the directive is a step toward alleviating congestion and enhancing road accessibility for residents.
He added that the move is to ensure smoother commuting experiences for all road users in Lagos.
