The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has warned party leaders against releasing party’s data to unauthorized individuals ahead of the 2023 election.
This was disclosed in a statement made available to journalists late Sunday evening. The release obtained by POLITICS NIGERIA was signed by the party’s chairman in Osun, Gboyega Famodun.
The statement read in part, “It has come to my notice that some disgruntled elements within our party have been going round to fraudulently collect information and data relating to polling units, wards and local government council areas across the state.
“On no account should any executive members in the polling unit, ward and local government levels across the state give any information or data about their constituencies unless such is directed by the state chairman through the laid down medium of communication within the party.”
He, however, threatened to punish any leaders in various wards and units found culpable disobeying the party’s directives.
